HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Writer: Rachel RodriguezRachel Rodriguez

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! LOL! I am just kidding!

Last year at this time, I would have two surgical procedures on my heart. A few months later in October, I would almost lose my life to a dislodged pacemaker, which would go off over 40 times. Soon would follow other health issues. I am now on the road to healing, learning to trust God in the process.

During this process, God would lovingly direct my steps in my walk with him. He would speak to me about the sin that I had allowed in my life, the things that I needed to let go of, and the pain that I needed to surrender. He really does turn what was meant for destruction, for good. His mercies truly never come to an end.

So, this year I am extremely grateful for another birthday that God allowed me to see. I am so grateful that when Satan tried to take my life on many occasions, God stepped in and said, “NO, she is mine!”.

Thank you to all of you for the birthday wishes, I am truly grateful to be a part of the ATTM Team and for the honor and the privilege to share with you through our blog.

Psalm 139:13-16 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: “I am the Lord, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself,

But when he who had set me apart before I was born, and who called me by his grace,

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.

Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

The words of Jeremiah, the son of Hilkiah, one of the priests who were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin, to whom the word of the Lord came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign. It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, and until the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah, the son of Josiah, king of Judah, until the captivity of Jerusalem in the fifth month. Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” ...
