You're no stranger to the iconic band For King and Country, with the charismatic Smallbone brothers, Luke and Joel, at the helm. But there's another member of Smallbone family making her mark across music and film. Moriah Smallbone, wife of Joel, is a multitalented singer, songwriter, and actress. Host Canaan Coffman sat down with MŌRIAH to talk about her career, what it was like to play Bathsheba in the Season 3 Finale of The Chosen, and why she initially didn’t tell her husband she landed the role. (Don’t tell Joel. He still might not know). But can she answer the question of Bathsheba returning in Season 4, or will @TheSnipeLife have to jump in to save the day? Her album "BRAVE" soared to 9th on Billboard’s CCM Charts, featuring a collaboration with Grammy winner Andy Mineo. A star on both screen and stage, she led in "Because of Gracia" (2017) and embodied Loyce Whiteman in an upcoming Reagan biopic alongside Dennis Quaid (2023). Moriah's versatile talents extend to producing, co-hosting K-LOVE/AccessMore’s hit podcast "BECOMING:us" with Grammy-winning husband Joel. She co-produced the film "Unsung Hero," and her self-produced EP "Curtain Call" showcases her multifaceted abilities. Currently, Moriah crafts songs for a country album in Nashville with Grammy winner Paul Mabury, shaping a remarkable artistic journey. She recently wrapped filming “Journey to Bethlehem” in Spain, a cinematic Nativity musical starring Antonio Banderas, set to release through Sony Affirm on November 10, 2023. Host, Giselle Makhlouf, had a wonderful chat with artist, Maria Nimmersjö, back in the spring of 2021. Maria has been drawing, painting, and creating artwork since her teenage years. Much of her incredible work is done in pencil and watercolor. After watching replays of The Chosen livestreams from Easter of 2020, Maria was so impressed by the storytelling and acting, she was inspired to draw the characters from the show.
